IOS Mobile QA Tester

Our client, a well-known retail company, is looking for an IOS Mobile QA Tester to join their team for a 10-month contract. Seeking a Mobile QA Tester who is adept at finding bugs in software. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for writing and executing test cases to verify the functionality of software. You’ll need a high level of understanding of software development and different ways to test components in a range of scenarios. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication are essential for success in this role. This position will be on site in the San Francisco office.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with colleagues in a team environment.

Design and execute test plans for individual pieces of software and systems.

Ensure the functionality of applications and verify that they match the specifications.

Monitor logs to prevent confidential credentials from being exposed.

Identify and report bugs for developers to fix.

Assist developers in recreating bugs.

Provide suggestions to enhance different systems or software.

Required Qualifications:

Background in mobile app development iOS and Android

Strong programming fundamentals.

Familiarity with manual testing techniques for native mobile applications.

Experience providing QA for mobile, web, and back-end services.

Ability to conduct usability tests and empathize with users’ unique perspectives.

Keen eye for pixel misalignments, margin errors, and other visual details.

Capable of writing and executing manual tests for mobile apps.
