IT Compliance Analyst

Orion Solutions Group is currently in search of an IT Compliance Analyst to join our client on a contract-to-hire basis. You will be responsible for executing IT compliance/audit/regulatory risk reviews and serving as the main contact with the business units. Responsibilities:

Risk Management:

Perform risk analysis and recommend actions to mitigate risk.

Develop and implement new risk management assessments/activities to address regulatory changes.

Present results of risk activities to business unit(s) and third-party processors as required.

Support completion of Second Line of Defense risk assessments including Risk and Control Self-Assessment.

Monitor and update policies, processes, and procedures for assigned business units. Recommend enhancements to internal processes.

Analyze and suggest improvements to department policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with policies and federal regulations in partnership with business units.

Develop expertise on FFIEC, NIST, ISO, and COBIT.

Special Projects:

Manage or participate in risk and compliance projects.

Collaborate on the implementation of new regulations.

Represent the business on assigned risk and compliance committees.

Educate and train business units on relevant risks and compliance.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, IT, or related field (8 years of direct experience will be considered in lieu of a degree)

Holding or pursuing certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISSP, or CISA (expected within two years)

4 years of hands-on experience performing IT audits and/or IT compliance reviews.

2 years of experience with a Big Four public accounting firm is preferred.
