Pathfinder Wealth Consulting, an established and fast-growing wealth management firm, is hiring a Marketing Manager to make a great first impression on clients, prospects, and partners. Our firm requires a dynamic team lead and marketing guru with a great attitude.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, delegation, and implementation of all marketing activities for the firm. This position manages the firm’s brand presence in the community, leads educational and appreciation efforts for clients, manages campaigns to attract prospects, and coordinates with team members to ensure a superior client experience and high rate of retention.

Our firm has offices located in Wilmington, NC and Cary, NC. This position will be on-site in our Cary office, with occasional travel to Wilmington.

Principal responsibilities:

Create and manage a firmwide marketing plan, setting specific calendar deadlines, and keeping the firm on task by goal priority

Head the Marketing Department with support from a Marketing Assistant and lead the Marketing Committee

Plan and coordinate all aspects of client and prospect events (seminars, lunch and learns, webinars, client appreciate events, etc.) to educate clients, promote referrals, and grow prospect pipeline

Manage client experience to ensure top-level client satisfaction and retention

Design and manage all communications, including coordination of ongoing newsletters, creation of special project campaigns, and writing and/or editing all blogs/articles

Organize and promote brand awareness through advertisements, sponsorships, articles, volunteerism, and manage relationships with community and business partners

Manage and update the firm’s digital presence, including website, blog, and social media

Maintain and update the firm’s marketing collateral, including prospect documents, stationery, and promotional items to maintain brand continuity

Maintain internal systems and marketing analytics to provide comparative data for future years and a baseline to monitor success

Ensure firm’s adherence to compliance regulations

Required knowledge/skills/competencies:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent; advanced degree a plus

5-7+ years in a marketing role; experience in the financial service industry preferred

Knowledge of multichannel marketing strategy, including event planning and coordination, branding, and digital marketing

Ability to think conceptually and maintain a holistic view of marketing and communications, while not missing delicate details of events, timelines, relationships, and internal processes

Ability to effectively collaborate with external business partners, including vendors and third-party marketing firms

Strong writing and editing skills, and a passion for maintaining brand guidelines and a cohesive voice across all internal and external content

Outstanding project management skills and ability to drive initiatives forward, challenge conventional thinking, and propose then implement new ways of accomplishing goals

Possess leadership and management skills to delegate tasks and manage expectations regarding deadlines, prioritization, and deliverables of team members

Proficiency with technology, including:

CRM database software

Email marketing software

Graphic design and publication software (Adobe Creative Cloud)

MS Office suite

Online survey tools

Social media

Video editing software

WordPress

Compensation related to experience. Base salary between $65,000-$85,000/annually, with bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits package in addition.
