Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot Daily System Issues: Identify and resolve project system issues promptly to meet uptime goals.
Monitor Production Output Targets: Understand hourly production output targets and take corrective action if there's a risk of not meeting them.
Routine Maintenance: Follow maintenance schedules and perform routine maintenance tasks (such as PMs and start-up tests) on equipment. Determine when and what type of maintenance is needed before escalating issues to the Operations & Maintenance Manager.
Problem Identification and Solutions: Identify potential problems and recommend changes or corrective actions to improve system performance.
Collaborate with Teams: Work with other maintenance team members, sub-contractors, and relevant groups to enhance system performance, product quality, and maintenance cost efficiency.
Effective Communication: Communicate cross-functionally across the organization to resolve plant-related issues.
Work Order Management: Ensure that Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) work orders are complete. Prepare necessary documents for material procurement and vendor services.
System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot various project system issues, including inverters, switchgear, transformers, breakers, and communications equipment.
Training and Documentation: Provide operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting training to operators and others as needed. Assist in developing standard operating documents for maintenance and operations.
Project Commissioning Support: Assist with project commissioning and testing by providing expertise.
Safety and Compliance: Attend assigned safety and environmental trainings. Adhere to health and safety rules and company policies.
Supervision of Sub-Contractors: Oversee and supervise sub-contractors involved in maintenance activities.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in Renewable Energy (Preferably Solar)
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Must have a valid driver's license
NABCEP Certification is a plus
