Automation Control Engineer
You will be responsible for controls and engineering needs for the plant where the development and manufacturing of electrification products are done. You will assist in maintenance through troubleshooting methodologies, and create and adapt programs to meet the plant objectives as well as maintain warranty and customer liabilities.
As the Automation Control Engineer responsibilities will include:
You will evaluate, troubleshoot, develop designs, and implement manufacturing process controls for all assigned programs manufactured in-house including OEM equipment and supply to ensure high quality, productivity, and cost efficiencies.
You will develop algorithms to control devices
Provide Control engineering support throughout the plant, as well as engineering support to the facility
Evaluate manufacturing control systems such as Kuka, Siemens Controls, Robotics, Scanners, Cameras, AGV, SCADA, etc. Main Focus is Siemens Tia Portal.
Write and test logic to ensure that error-proofing systems are functioning to design intent
Ensure full respect of EHS rules and regulations.
What we need from you:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or controls engineering
Experience in automotive manufacturing
Background in Auto CAD, Electrical and mechanical, Multiple controls logic languages software programming, and robot programming
Experience with KUKA Robots or Siemens programming language is needed
Certifications and/or specialized training in Controls are highly desired.
