We are working alongside our client in the Civil Engineering sectors, based in Maryland, who are looking to hire a Landscape Architect to join their growing team.

A nationally recognized leader within the civil engineering market across multi-display projects including Landscape Architecture and Planning.

Location: Rockville, Maryland, MD

The Role & Responsibilities

This role is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team and business who are heavily invested in within the civil engineering and landscape architecture industries.

Oversee the design and preparation of land planning and engineering documentation. This includes preliminary and site plans, feasibility studies and site planning.

Undertake the site evaluation and the plant identification for natural resource inventories and forest stand delineation.

Prepare and research existing site/project information – undertaking the creation of reports and cost estimates.

Undertake the creation and review of exhibits for internal meetings, external agency meetings including public and citizen hearings.

Leveraging your experience and familiarity of local jurisdiction zoning and design manuals as well as drafting and design software including MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Assist internal team members with bringing projects through the entitlement process.

Requirements\Qualifications

Educated with a Bachelor of Science in a related field.

Working towards gaining Landscape Architect Registration. (L.A.R.E)

Demonstrable experience of land planning projects across site/civil and land projects in the USA.

Ability to use software applications including MS Office, AutoCAD, Sketchup & Photoshop.

Demonstrable experience across a wide range of landscape architecture & land planning including zoning, land planning, site grading, natural resources, and plant materials.

Ability to undertake the creation and review of technical reports and permit documents.
