Summary

Agility is precision advertising. We enable companies to advertise to their audiences across millions of devices, apps, streaming TV, and Audio–to reach prospects wherever they are at precisely the right moment. We extend a company’s reach beyond paid search and social, with precision. We target medium enterprises with $50M to $2B in revenue.

Building and executing strategies for our target customer is complex. This role requires experienced and well-educated media buyers who are experts at asking the right questions and pulling the right levers to deliver customer results in programmatic buying in an enterprise setting. They also lead a team of cross-functional specialists to deliver results.

Current roles may include Media Planner/Buyer, programmatic advertising specialist, or equivalent.

Role Description:

What impact can a Campaign Success and Optimization Manager have?

The Manager over Campaign Success and Optimization is a key leadership and individual contributing role blending expertise in media buying, campaign optimization, and campaign structure to achieve optimal results.

This person is a savvy media buyer bringing best practices and techniques to support our target customer, working with customer-facing teams and product development. They excel at maximizing media buys to deliver revenue-based KPIs for target customers, forecasting KPIs, and doing deep-level analysis through lift and path-to-conversion reports to see the campaign's success path. They have experience in Programmatic Advertising and deeply understand the full suite of digital marketing products and how programmatic media buying fits into the entire marketing portfolio. They may even have experience on the technology side of media buying and understand the systems behind programmatic media buying and campaign optimization.

What does success look like for this role ?

This role works with precision strategy consultants and product leaders to identify the ideal customer outcome in relation to their advertising campaigns they effectively communicate the theory behind optimization decisions and the impact of those decisions. They communicate best practices and work with team members to ensure a cohesive experience for all those who interact with their team. They work with product operations specialists and the engineering team to develop systems that deliver the ideal customer experience again and again. Their expertise elevates not only our target customers' campaigns and KPIs, but also informs our product roadmap and the entire team's knowledge of maximized media buying.

The Manager over Campaign Success work cross-functionally with the product owner over Precision advertising, Account Executives, Precision Strategy consultants, Product Operations Specialists, Product Designers, other product owners, and the executive team to deliver value for the customer.

Ideal Experience

Proven experience in media buying, campaign development, strategy and optimization to achieve campaign goals, ideally within a digital or programmatic advertising environment.

Degree in a related field, i.e., marketing, advertising etc; with 4+ years of hands-on media buying experience; OR 7+ years of direct hands-on experience in programmatic media buying including Display, CTV, Audio, or DooH working in a DSP like Trade Desk, or Basis.

Strong understanding of customer experience or process design and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple teams.

Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a capacity to utilize data in decision-making and to drive continuous improvement.

Multi-Touch Attribution Reporting experience, Lift Analysis, and Brand Lift Studies a defiant plus.

Professional presentation savvy in spoken word, written word, dress, and attitude gives coworkers the impression that our sr Media Planners are accomplished professionals with impressive expertise and poise.

Track record of successful project management experience and have used tools like Hubspot, Monday, or Trello to manage and track success.

Ability to analyze a situation and find opportunities for improvement next time in a blameless way.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with account executives and precision strategists to identify target accounts, plan KPI management and contribute to campaign success and ensure customer satisfaction.

Cross-functional Leadership: Serve as a bridge between sales, design, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of customer-centric solutions.

Market and Customer Insights: Utilize insights from market trends, vendor updates, and industry standards, coupled with knowledge of programmatic media buying, to inform and guide strategy development and execution.

Performance Measurement and Optimization: Develop and oversee a sophisticated reporting system to monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance across multiple DSP’s and partner vendors.

Product Development: Work closely with CX Designers to develop relevant automation and systems logic for campaign optimization across media exchanges.

Compensation

Salary Range: Depending on experience, $80,000 - $150,000

Paid Time Off: Uncapped

Stock Options: Equity is subject to the rollout of Agility's stock option plan, currently projected for April 2024.
