JOB SUMMARY:
Inside Parts Sales Specialist/Representative (Western WA) serves as the primary point of contact for incoming and outgoing customer communication related to parts sales. They gather information, troubleshoot to identify customer needs, and fill orders efficiently and effectively while providing outstanding customer service support. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responds to incoming customer requests quickly and efficiently. Follows up as necessary, within expected timelines (by the next business day)
Diagnoses and troubleshoots customer issues over the phone and via email as needed to identify parts needed
Builds quotes parts sales and communicates to Customers as quickly as possible
Recommends and refers customers to other departments as needed
Prioritizes Customer Requests based on customer status and their mission and size and complexity of their request.
Escalates Customer concerns to the appropriate party quickly and sensitively
Uses software tools to track performance within the department to ensure parts sales goals are met, identifies challenges, recommends solutions
Populates and updates database of frequently purchased parts for customers to expedite quoting and processing of transactions
Works to maximize/enhance parts sales. “Upsells” to customers to maximize their future mission readiness and SWS parts sales revenue.
Stays up to date on new products and services offered by SWS, communicates to customers to enhance the customer experience and sales within the parts department
Maintains positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and industry partners
Pro-actively communicates challenges or concerns with customers when parts quotes or shipments are delayed or unable to be filled as agreed to.
Provides outstanding service to SWS customers consistently and professionally
Performs outbound phone based sales calls to increase parts sales revenue, regularly aiming to exceed quotas.

Required Experience & Education:
High School Diploma (GED/High School Equivalence Certificate)
Understanding of logistics and parts distribution timelines, challenges, and opportunities
Demonstrated creative problem -solving capabilities to meet the needs of the customer
Sales experience-preferably parts sales- with a proven track record of meeting revenue goals while providing outstanding customer service. Proven ability to upsell and conduct outbound sales calls when directed.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Sales/Parts Management software systems
Minimum of 3 years of parts sales experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Position requires use of computer, telephones and other office equipment, reading, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
