THE ROLE– Senior Manager of Consumer Insights & Analytics
The Senior Manager will support Marketing stakeholders in guiding data-driven decision-making through business simulations and optimization, competitive intelligence, and risk management. In this role, you are expected to work on heart-of-business topics related to market and brand growth drivers, competitive assessments, spend optimization, and options for driving top-line and bottom-line. Their primary responsibility will be to connect the dots and offer insights and recommendations with various analytics products that will ultimately solve business problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with Marketing VP/GMs to identify and address critical business issues through data-driven insights and analytics.
Conduct in-depth analysis on various business topics, including market dynamics, brand growth, competitive landscape, and investment optimization.
Develop and deliver analytics solutions tailored to specific business needs, utilizing a combination of tools and techniques such as business simulations, competitive intelligence, and risk management strategies.
Act as a strategic advisor to the GMs, providing actionable recommendations based on analytics insights to drive business growth and mitigate risks.
Drive the adoption of analytics best practices within the organization, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's preferred.
Proven track record of delivering analytics solutions in CPG organizations, preferably with hands-on experience across digital and marketing channels.
Strong background in utilizing POS data, syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, Numerator), and other relevant analytics tools and platforms.
Experience in conducting competitive intelligence, understanding business drivers, and optimizing investment allocation.
Previous experience in CPG companies or leading management consulting firms specializing in CPG.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI platforms.
