Along with Sales Director, develop, maintain, and improve business relations with customers in the region as well as develop local strategic initiatives.

Scope

This position reports to West Coast Sales Director. Responsible for business of Cosmetics & Fragrance in Los Angeles, California (position is based in CA).

Main activities

SALES OPERATIONS

Costing Expert

Costing/Winforce/Plants/Trade Desk/indexation/Price Adjustments – support building RFQs

NPD Partner

Monitor commercial aspects of launches (Development PO’s, tooling invoicing)

Monitor development progress collaboratively with NPD-PM from Award through Launch Delivery

Facilitate communication when required. Visit manufacturing plant

Customer Service/Supply Chain Friend – Ensure client creation/OMP Set Up and that Supply Chain agreements properly kicked off post launch, educate, monitor enforcement of pricing agreements diplomatically

Develop relationships with key stakeholders within all departments, within other clusters & troubleshoot (including Legal, Regulatory Affairs aspect)

Support Sales Director with local strategic initiatives (prospection, network, marketing, communication)

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT - E.L.F. Beauty worldwide (US+China)

Develop relationships with e.l.f. stakeholders in all zones (US CAN EU & China)

Sales Expert – Apply all of the functions of SOM position to this role with sales development being the goal

Commercial partner - Primary point of contact for RFQs at Global Account Level – all Albea sites and client territories

Client Friend – Negotiate and close RFQs originating from e.l.f USA (Global Headquarters)

GENERAL RESPONSABILITIES ASSOCIATED

Manage the needs of the customers in order to meet the objectives of the Company’s business plans and strategies

Develop, maintain and improve business relations with assigned prospects & customers in the region

Manage internal reporting, participate in development of annual sales plans and quarterly updates, revisions, and modifications to the plan when requested

Establish both quantitative and qualitative performance goals for all assigned sales and business development personnel, and monitor performance on a continual basis. Assess and upgrade talent, as warranted

Focusing on promoting Albea Mexico, Albea China & Albea Indonesia value proposition, while also promoting Albea supplier partners in China to best support our client’s needs

Accountability including KPIs

Manage proper execution of the RFQ/Creative proposal process front initial contact through award/KPIs Sales $ and Hit rate (awards/quotes)

Guarantee customer satisfaction by ensuring the right level of service is provided from each Albea stakeholder to clients assigned and within scope/KPIs Customer service metric, Launch OTIF rate, Budget/forecast accuracy

Guarantee that Albea key performance factors are maintained and improved/KPIs Investment, profit, working capital, and overdues

Strategic contributions/KPIs Participation rate and comfort outside of the box

Guarantee customer relationship at highest level

Strive for and drive growth

Think Continuous Improvement/KPIs pro-active and reactive communication/build trust, act don't react, lead don't follow

Profile (Experience & qualifications)

Bachelor's Degree

5 to 10 years experience in the Beauty Industry, Packaging or Cosmetics/Personal Care in a manufacturing environment with complex negotiations with customers, integrating multiple dimensions (price, investment, level of service…)

Ability to understand customer needs and Brand DNA to build customer satisfaction

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint, experience with MS Project is a plus.

Strong negotiation and project management skills

Strong analytical skills and ability to go from complex problems to actionable solutions.

Product line related experience (product or labels or printing) a. Or Packaging experience, b. Or Fast consumer goods experience (for example Pharmaceutical the pace is too slow) c. Or other related industry such as electronics, automotive, aeronautic.

Proven and successful experience in high-value client acquisition, satisfaction, and retention

Proven experience of having driven sales initiatives and achieving or surpassing business targets.

Ability to communicate effectively and comprehensively to stakeholders

Capable of presenting information in a clear, simple, and convincing manner, tailoring even the most complex concepts in a way that resonates with the audience.

Ability to show an understanding of the workings of standard sales analyses

Must be highly motivated, be a consumer and result-oriented individual, have a positive can-do attitude, work effortlessly in a fast-paced and highly competitive environment, work comfortably in group and cross-functional settings, and have an ability to work on multiple projects which will include effective prioritization and the timely completion of deadlines.
