My client who is a leading Global Consulting firm is currently looking to on board an experienced SAP Pre-Sales Architect with a deep background within either Pharmaceutical, BioPharma or MedTech customers. The role possesses an 80% presales, 20% delivery focus.
This is a Full Time position which will see individuals working remotely with travel to customer sites primarily in the North East (circa 30-60%).
The Role:
You will be a part of the North America SAP Practice engaged with Life Sciences customers in advising and leading them in their transformation journey. You will be responsible to:
Actively build positive, collaborative relationships with Pharma, Biotech and/or Medtech clients to understand the business requirements and challenges
Advise clients on using the Business Platform of SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP and ARIBA to meet their business needs
Conduct workshops and deliver demos as a part of the pre-sales engagements in demonstrating better ways of working in Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Deliver and Record-to-Report
Conduct Business Benefits and Value Management workshops using SAP’s Value Life Cycle Management solution
Work closely with the Life Sciences Sales Leaders and SAP Practice Functional experts to plan, manage and deliver solutions to Life Sciences prospects and customers
Engage with customers in the Preparation and Discover Phases of the Implementation
Help the Implementation Team by sharing inputs gathered during pre-sales, Preparation & Discover Phases to connect the dots across functional workstreams and technical disciplines.
The Candidate:
Someone who has experience with Pharma, BioPharma and/or Medtech companies. The skills & experience required are:
Past Involvement in Leading significant pursuits (5M USD and above)
Past Involvement in Road mapping and Deployment Planning exercises
Past Involvement in the pursuit of Orals and defending the solution
Between 12-15 years of experience with SAP in Implementing and Enhancing a Pharma or BioPharma company (i.e. SAP Functional Expertise after Year 2008)
Should have good working experience in at least two areas of the following Mega Process of these processes namely; Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Deliver and Record-to-Report
In Order-to-Cash should have experience in these four models of Distribution namely (Consignment model, direct distribution, Distributor model & 3PL model)
IF an OTC expert, then a good understanding of Pricing, Payback & Chargebacks, Incentive Administration functionality in native SAP or third-party products like Vistex
IF a Plan to Deliver expert, then should have experience in Master Data Management, Inventory Management of GxP transactions, Warehouse Management, Planning, Regulatory & Compliance Reporting
IF a Plan to Deliver expert, then also should possess a deep understanding of Labeling with Bartender or Loftware, integration with MES and LIMS software like Labware LIMS, PAS-X MES etc..
Must have good understanding of GxP (Computer Systems Validations process, knowledge of FDA Part 11 Compliance process at a high level)
At least one SAP S/4HANA Implementation experience in a mid-size to large-size Pharma company
Salary – $200k-$225k Per Annum + Bonus (20%) + Benefits
