Project Control Specialist

We have partnered with a nationwide family-owned, full-service design and construction company. They are leading the way in start-to-finish commercial construction projects in over 40 states. They recently opened a second headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, and are looking for talented individuals in the trades to join their rapidly growing team.

We are actively seeking a Project Control Specialist to work on the project planning and scheduling to help keep MEP projects on time. This individual will have experience in project management and is a team player. They will be overseeing multiple projects at a time. This individual can reside in Phoenix, AZ or Salem, OR.

Requirements

5 years of experience in project management

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field

Proficient in Primavera

Advanced knowledge of Bluebeam Revu

Experience managing large Commercial, Institutional or Federal projects preferred

Responsibilities

Project Planning and schedule updates, and maintain project schedules

Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks

Monitor and analyze project costs, identifying variances and working with the team to address them. Prepare and update the cost forecasts

Identify potential risks and work with project teams to develop mitigation plans

Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders as well as document and maintain records of project activities

Ensure timely and clear communication regarding project status, risks, and changes.

Help develop and implement processes and tools to manage project costs, schedules, and risks
