This practice is dedicated to developing a supportive team of motivated individuals who want to guide clients on their healing journeys as well as spread mental health education and wellness. This practice seeks to support its clinicians to prevent burnout and increase positive energy.

Ray of Light Wellness LLC began as a private online mental health practice with one clinician/owner in 2017. Ray was a practice that was fully remote pre pandemic when other practices were not. Originally this practice was licensed to service the state of Massachusetts but later gained licensure in the states of Rhode Island and Connecticut as well. In 2023, this practice became a group practice. We are currently a group of 6 therapists and welcome you to join us. Ray of Light Wellness LLC is quickly expanding and needs more help to do so. We currently have over 5k followers on Instagram and demand for sessions has been steadily growing.

What This Position Offers:

Fully Remote Job Opportunity! No Commute or Transportation Costs!

This practice assigns MacBooks and iPhones (owned by the practice) sent to therapists’ home office for HIPPA compliance and work purposes only.

BCBS health insurance plans offered 80% covered by this practice.

One week of paid vacation time, accumulates over to the next year if not used.

Two paid personal days per year, accumulates over to the next year if not used.

This is a W-2 employee position. The practice works with an accountant firm to separate taxes owed and also handle costs of health insurance in each paycheck. Therapists do not have to worry about any of the things they would have to worry about if in their own private practice. We handle it all !

*Starting payment is $55 per hour. Therapists with specific certifications, multiple licensures, or who are bilingual get paid at higher rates and start at higher rates.Therapists who choose to run therapy groups get additional pay as well. There is also 4-5 hours of paid paperwork time per week by the same contracted rate agreed upon. No show/missed appointments are also paid for.

Three bonuses per year. Opportunity to make up to an extra $1,500.

Flexible Work Schedule

Technologically based, this practice uses a HIPAA compliant portal for videoconferencing, maintaining Electric Health Records, as well as a messaging feature for clients between sessions .

This practice will complete all health insurance contracting/credentialing for its therapists.

This practice manages and bills health insurance claims for its therapists

This practice covers ads and marketing for its therapists which promotes therapists and attracts clientele to the practice

The practice will schedule initial client appointments for its therapists. Therapists are able to manage all follow up appointments.

Paid biweekly remote group practice meetings.

This practice provides all resources therapist will need.

Opportunities to run group therapy sessions online are available.

One hour of free supervision per week (option of 2 supervision hours the first three months of starting if therapist requests)

Requirements:

*Must have a masters level degree, and be independently licensed (LICSW, LMHC).

*Must have at least 2-3 years of clinical experience.

*Currently looking for a therapist who is independently licensed in the state of Massachusetts.

*Full Time therapists must be willing to have a caseload of at least 22-25 clients per week.

*Must be able to work independently.

*Must be able to complete progress notes, treatment plans and evaluations in a timely manner.

Must have experience with MacBooks and iPhones or willingness to learn.

*Must be willing to work at least 3 evenings per week (which evening is determined by therapist, latest appointments at 6pm or 7pm)

*Must be available to work at the practice 4-5 days a week. The practice is open 6 days per week.

*Must be willing to work Thursdays. We have paid group meetings every other Thursday. A therapist can choose what other days they would like to work other than Thursday.

*Must be comfortable working with adult clients 18 years and over who are dealing with trauma, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, body image issues, issues with gender identity, major life transitions, self esteem and/or addictions

Preferred but not required experience with working with LGBTQIA+ community

Preferred but not required bilingual speaker (Portuguese or Spanish)

*Have knowledge and experience working with one or more of the following:Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Art therapy, EMDR, Mindfulness, Meditation Practices, Integrative Mental Health, etc

Must be open minded and willing to work with a diverse population of clients

Must be open to learning integrative and holistic approaches to mental health

Casual dress attire is fine.
