Job Title: FIC Application Support Engineer
Work Model: In office, Miami (must relocate if not local)
Comp: 200-275k Total Comp (base + bonus)
Responsibilities
End to end ownership of the production environment:
Application Support
Incident and problem management
Automation of manual tasks
Mandatory Requirements
Experience supporting front office trading applications are essential, candidates must have worked within a global financial service organization
Hands on experience in Unix/Shell scripting
Hand on in SQL skills and knowledge of various database systems
Python experience
Strong experience with DevOps tooling
Ability to support Windows environments too
Highly analytical with excellent problem solving ability
Self-starter with ability to quickly pick up new concepts and technologies (Cloud, Server less etc)
Previous experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, OpsGenie)
Strong organization and project management skills
Preferred Requirements
Fixed income products knowledge
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with middleware solutions (i.e Kafka)
Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS Preferred )
