Mainframe Technology Lead

Infosys is seeking a Mainframe Technology Lead for L2/L3 support team where candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across various aspects of application support for our client using various monitoring tools to perform fault analysis, failure avoidance and diagnosis and resolution for any impacting issues in a distributed environment. Candidate will be working closely with development and engineering team to provide input on new functionality and system performance, capacity management, monitoring and testing of infra upgrades and platform releases.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chesterbrook, PA or Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

• At least 3 Years of experience with Production Support

• At least 3 years of hands on experience in Mainframes Technologies like (COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS).

• Prior experience on Financial Services domain.

• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.

• Hands on experience on ITIL processes,

•Ability to work in a diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

• Planning and Co-ordination skills.

• Good Communication and Analytical skills.

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
