Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks on food processing equipment, including conveyors, mixers, slicers, fillers, and packaging machinery.

Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential equipment issues before they escalate, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal efficiency.

Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs promptly to minimize production disruptions.

Collaborate with production staff to schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules.

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.

Coordinate with equipment suppliers and vendors to procure replacement parts and materials as needed.

Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, prioritizing urgent issues to minimize production losses.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.

Proven experience in maintenance and repair of food processing equipment, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.

Strong mechanical aptitude with a thorough understanding of industrial machinery and systems.

Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as they relate to food processing equipment.

Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality in all tasks.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, with occasional overtime required.
