Job Description

Our client, a global Japanese trading company is looking for a Support and logistics coordinator in the Houston TX area to join their team

Title: Sales Support & Logistics Coordinator

Industry: Renewables Trading

Type: Full Time Direct Hire Non-Exempt

Location: Houston TX

Salary: 55-59K + 6% bonus

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of experience with bulk marine shipments

Experience with import and export operations required

Strong knowledge of shipping documentation required including experience with marine bill of ladings

SAP experience

Spanish language ability preferred

Experience with certificate of origin, commercial invoicing and certification of quality/quantity

College Degree

JOB DUTIES:

Coordinate schedule and operations between customers, suppliers, freight forwarders and ship brokers

Input payments, billing and inventory in the SAP system

Customer registration into the accounting system

Coordinate business transactions between international and local offices.

Prepare required documents related to shipment and trade including validating letter of credit

Complete shipping documentations for import and exports
