Commercial Insurance Sales Associate

We are looking for an experienced, connected and competitive sales professional to support current clientele and assist in the expansion of new business activities by actively acquiring new business. Qualified leads and development support provided- your success is our success!. We are seeking innovative, forward-thinking, self-motivated, and tenacious individuals with a strong sales background and proven track record.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance contracts or adjust existing as needed
Cultivate new lines of commercial business, including but not limited to engaging in business development and networking opportunities
Contact prospective/potential clients and create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals- both leads provided by Good Greek and those that are self-generated
Manage and support existing client accounts
Collect information from clients on their risk profiles and offer proper solutions
Assist with CRM data entry and management
Retain continuous awareness of transactions, sales and terms and keep relative records, and provide management/ownership sales reporting on a regular basis
Frequently replenish job-specific knowledge and apply it on the field
Effectively communicate with client s, internal staff, management and ownership
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions in support of the clients need and demands
SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
Proven experience as an insurance sales associate with commercial lines of business
Proficient in personal computer skills, including Internet, e-mail, record keeping, database activity, word processing, and spreadsheets
Good comprehension of all lines of insurance plans including but not limited to automobile, fire, life, property, etc.
Ability to work with computers and understand and interpret standard statistical findings
Excellent skills in communication and presentation- both verbal and written
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
Can consistently prospect for future client s with a positive attitude.
Goal-oriented and customer service minded
Possess and entrepreneurial mindset
Organized, detailed orientated and great follow up/through skills
Driven to work with sales quotas
Sales experience required (2 year or greater)
License/Certification ad Education:
220 Florida Insurance License (Required)
Bachelor’s Degree or greater preferred
Competitive compensation package, which includes but is not limited to commission/bonus incentives and benefit options.
