Network Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Network Technician/Engineer to join our team! You will help support and maintain our large client's routers and switches, servers, and networks. The job will begin in August 2024. Responsibilities:

Analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing wired and wireless network systems

Handle installation and programming of switches (CISCO and xxx), repairs and exchanges of defective devices

Collaborate on the improvement of network design and connectivity

Perform routine network maintenance

Maintain inventory of network electronics

Qualifications:

5 years experience in router and switch management required

Advanced knowledge of networking, hardware, and software is critical

Ability to prioritize and multitask projects working independently as instructed

Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

Work in large transit environments is a plus
