How to contribute to our vision

Design & Development of Cooling components like, Cooling tower, Air filtration unit, Exhaust system, Cooling pipes and routings.

Identifies and selects components, materials, parts, and semi-products appropriate for cooling system assembly design.

Maintains technical product files as: DFMEAs, Requirement documents and ODIs, Component Replacement Specifications or Manufacturing Process Control Requirements.

Analyses existing development procedures and suggests improvements.

Upgrade the design of existing devices by adding mechanical elements and cost out optimization.

Analyse requirements and designs/adapts products and solutions accordingly.

P&I Diagram creation/reading.

To report to the Product Owner of Cooling & Thermal Team.

To elaborate according to the planning and quality standards the deliverables of the product development design process: specifications, performance analysis, calculation reports, etc.

To coordinate and collaborate with other Engineering groups, stakeholders, with special focus on Electrical Systems and Mechanical Design Teams.

Identification of potential improvements and development of cost effective and innovative technical solutions aimed at optimizing efficiency of the analysis and documentation procedures.

Participation in the design verification of wind turbines for cooling elements.

Develop mechanical components for cooling system (hoses routing, fittings,…).

Maintains technical product files (ODIs, RDs, …)

Collaborate in the analysis of the results of the functional validation of wind turbines in those aspects related to the turbines cooling elements.

Mechanical Design Engineer have 8-10 years of Total experience and 3+ years with relevant experience.

Good understanding manufacturing process, material selection, component selection & sizing

Knowledge on concept design in 3D, design of mechanical parts, systems and sub-systems, technical documentation like 2D drawings.

Good Exposure to CAD tools like NX and Teamcenter.

Profound knowledge of design requirements on component level (Cooling tower, Cooling pipes, Air filtration unit)

A solution-oriented mindset paired with excellent communication skills.

Good Understanding on the product development cycle and engineering change management.

Work experience is heavy structure, sheet metal & bracket design.

Knowledge on corrosion protection system.

Understanding of Joining processes (Welds), selection of fasteners

Industrial standards like EN, ISO including EHS guidelines.

Expertise into GD & T and Tolerance Stack up.

Team worker.

Good communication.

Problem solving, objective oriented.

Methodological, rigorous, flexible, objective orientation, proactive.
