You are primarily responsible for scheduling all turning work, monitor daily turning job
status/progress, work overtime if authorized to meet customer needs, and communicate with our
customers regarding their needs, concerns, and delivery requirements. Design turning
tooling/fixtures, select tools, write turning programs, make prototype pieces, and make one of kind
pieces from a sample. Estimate and quote new production and prototype turning work.
Must be able to read prints and have excellent math skills including trigonometry. High School
Diploma (GED) minimum. Minimum Work Experience of 10 years as a CNC Programmer/Machinist on lathes.
Completed machinist apprenticeship or 2-year Technical College machining degree a plus. Design
skills and use of Solidworks & CAD/CAM helps also. Excellent attendance record is a condition of
hire and maintaining your job. Successfully complete interviews and on-site test.
