(DOL) Director of Logistics

Qosil, Ltd would like to hire a full-time Director of Logistics for our program management office in Central Asia.

Qosil, Ltd is a Kazakhstan based Program Management subsidy of the American-owned company, GeniusCo Support Services, LLC. The company focuses on managing various programs sponsored by its parent company. Qosil uses a rigorous agile management process that is internally referred to as the Golden Standard, to provide rigor and repeatable successful outcomes to the programs in their management.

Job Description

Primary Functions

The Director of Logistics will execute key duties that ensure the consistent flow of resources to support the initiatives and programs throughout the GCSS international organization. This position is highly fluid and will require the employee to have a high level of problem solving skills and the ability to travel internationally.

The Director of Logistics must be able to deploy to any location that is imperative to the movement and development of resources to ensure the completion of the programs in our management portfolio

The Director of Logistics must maintain a clear and in-depth level of situation awareness for all programs, project and fields of operation for GCSS. The primary purpose of this situational awareness is to remove barriers and ensure successful outcomes as planned.

The Director of Logistics will monitor and lead the discovery of various sources of information on all assets that are under Qosil's management or within Qosil's sphere of influence or spheres of influence that have a direct impact on the success of the programs under management.

Inner Office Functions

Prepare daily briefing for the Chairman and Leadership Team

Provide risk management briefings to Chairman and Leadership Team

Develop project contengencies with leadership team to manageme possible project risks

Coordinate with inernal resources on best-practices for the mobilization of resources

Service Functions

Be responsive to Qosil leadership requests

Follow all Qosil best practices and standards in the management and execution of your work

Field Functions

Be the final person responsible for clearing roadblocks to project implementation

Coordinate with the Qosil leadership team in order to ensure program success

This position requires someone who is willing to be hands on in the management and de-rsiking of company assets and initiative and can involve up to 65% travel.

This position is an ON-Site position and is located in the Qosil Development Offices Astana, Kazakhstan.

Requirements

This position does not require a certification or license but does require the ability to prove proficiency at the work requirements.

Experience working in Central and East Asian markets

Cybersecurity, red room and blue room experience is a plus

Experience with information gathering concepts and methodologies is a plus

Ability to use Google Workspace applications

Proficient in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office applications

Experience with Google mail, Drive and Calendar

Proficient Mathematical skills

Experience using practical and rational methods for conflict resolution and problem solving

CMust be reliable and highly organized. He/she should possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing and work equally well independently and in teams.

The candidate MUST speak English and Russian

Mandatory In-Office Work Hours

Monday Thru Friday 9am - 7pm

Off-site work must be authorized by Manager

This is NOT a Remote Position. 100% Remote Candidates will NOT be considered.

The position is not a remote position and requires that the staff work on site at our office in Astana Kazakhstan. We offer paid holidays as well as 7 days paid leave time after 6 months of successful work. This is a salaried position and all performance indicators must be completed on weekly and monthly basis.
