Summary of Position:
Our client is looking for a full-time Senior Technologist with 5–10 years of wood frame, multifamily project experience to lead construction documents in Revit. This role will provide leadership and guidance to team members in the production of design development, working drawings, construction administration and team coordination.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead the development and production of architectural contstruction documents
Review drawings for accuracy & compliance with local Building Codes and City Bylaw requirements prior to submissions
Lead product research including building components and systems, prepare project code analysis
Coordinate consultant teams, liaise with clients and approving authorities
Attend and lead meetings with clients and/or consultants as required
Manage project timelines and provide guidance to junior team members
Attend site meetings and provide contract administration support, as required
Qualifications:
5–10 years of post graduate experience, local preferred
Architecture Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology
High proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD
Experience in developing construction documents for multifamily, mid-rise wood frame projects in BC
Understanding of sustainable design, including LEED, BC Energy Step Code, BC Building Code and Bylaws
Personable with effective verbal and written communication skills
Mentorship and leadership skills
