The Role:

Entegris is seeking a 1st shift QA Analytical Chemist for our KSP facility. Wednesday-Sunday 8:00am-5:00pm.

The QA Chemist is responsible for QA testing and will provide analytical support for production of our Micro-Contamination Control and Membrane products. The QA Chemist will prepare and test samples using ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, TOC analysis, NVR, LC-CAD, GC-MS and GC-FID/MS.

In this role you will:

Conduct QA product testing of Filtration and Membrane products from manufacturing.

Follow and document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests.

Set up analytical standards, reagent mixes and/or deliver production chemicals used in testing process.

Analyze and interpret test data, maintain documentation of test operations and ensure data quality and integrity.

Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot testing equipment.

Remove and dispose waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures.

Handle customer requests appropriately and in a timely manner.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline and at least 2 years of relative work experience is required; strong internship/co-op experience in a related field will be considered.

A strong scientific approach and high attention to detail are key to success in this role.

Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment while completing individual projects is required.

ICP MS, HPLC, and GC FID/MS experiences are preferred.

Experience with a LIMs (Labware) system is a plus.

Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.

Some exposure to an ISO 9000 work environment is preferred.
