As the Special Events Manager, you will...
Manage all incoming leads via Open Table, telephone, email and other channels; assists with managing event software
Close deals and assist guests from start to finish with all event planning needs
Manage annual sales goals for selected restaurants by booking group events
Seek out new sales opportunities and partnerships, initiating action plans and attending networking events to procure new business
Build guest loyalty and book repeat business
Communicate with the service team all event details; partners with General Manager and Executive Chef to ensure that each event is flawlessly executed against objectives
Book small to large events and able to prioritize tasks efficiently
Works on-site to build a solid team atmosphere
Qualifications
Have 3+ years of experience in a high volume events environment
Restaurant or similar experience preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Catering/event software experience
Able to work flexible, sometimes long hours
Excellent customer service
