Role

As a Senior Maintenance Technician - PLC (also known as Electrical Maintenance Specialist, Automation Technician), you'll ensure equipment uptime through in-depth electrical troubleshooting of 480VAC & 24VDC components. You'll have a strong working knowledge of all operating systems in the plant and act as a subject matter expert on behalf of the plant in frequency drives, human machine interface (HMI), plant operating systems, and data collection/system backups. You'll also perform troubleshooting and repair of facilities and auxiliary equipment and general electrical maintenance of the building and grounds.Benefits

High School Diploma or GED. Associate's Degree in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation or other similar manufacturing-related specialization preferred.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in an electrical maintenance environment, with 4 years of experience managing people/projects.

Proficiency in troubleshooting one or more of the following automation systems: Allen Bradley (AB), B&R, and/or Siemens.

Skilled in the repair of variable frequency drives, servomotors and controllers, communication systems (asi-bus, can-bus, profi- bus, ethernet), PLC input/output cards, and safety modules.

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical and instrumentation diagrams.

Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer within the automation and electrical area of the plant or machine center.
