Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Inspector I is responsible for the routine inspection of ware to ensure conformance to technical drawings using precision measuring instruments.

Job Duties

Utilization of inspection tools (calipers, pins, rings, micrometers, etc.) for conformance inspection.

Drawing and tolerance interpretation.

Attend and participate in departmental/team meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Skill Qualifications

High School diploma/GED and 5 years of related experience.

Ability to perform advanced level job responsibilities, including problem solving using basic math and scientific rules.

Ability to read and interpret dimensioned drawings.

Exhibits a friendly and helpful manner and can work well with others in a team environment.

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Good problem-solving skills.

Ability to understand basic business concepts and technical details.

Ability to communicate both oral and written instruction to other functions in the manufacturing area.

Ability to present both oral and written presentations with supervisory approval.

Ability to execute a work plan or program of work from a written document or report.
