Construction Project Estimator

Job Description

$75,000 at plan yearlyResponsibilities:

Compute labor, construction materials, time, and product costs to estimate overall cost for construction projects

Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposal and budgets

Frequent construction sites to gather necessary client requirement information

Analyze blueprints, proposals, specifications, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole

Interface with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractorsQualifications:

Knowledge of data and risk analysis, research methodology, accounting, and estimation metrics is critical

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software

3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is necessary

Excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills are necessary

Experience estimating commercial roofing projects

Planswift, Edge, and DataForma experience
