System Engineer

To be successful as a System Engineer should be a highly motivated, results-driven individual who can create the perfect solution for our organization’s higher-level needs. The best candidate will also be an excellent listener and communicator, with the ability to explain why their solutions are the best fit for us.

Duties & Responsibilities:

●Plan and implement new systems.

●Suggest new ideas and solutions to problems.

●Maintain and constantly improve existing systems.

●Determine bottlenecks in the current systems and suggest solutions to problems.

●Determine issues with business Internet connectivity, WAN technologies, remote access and VPN configuration.

●Participate in security management.

●Use diagnostic tools to determine deficiencies

●Suggest and oversee improvement processes

●Stay up to date with latest technology and best practices

●Attend webinars and conferences

Qualifications:

●Must be a graduate of Information Technology, Computer Engineer, Computer Science or equivalent.

●Strong customer service orientation.

●Two or more years of industry experience in systems engineering or related experience.

●Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.

●Proven experience with system planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.

●Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities

●Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.

●Positive, service-oriented personality
