** Tech's must have their own transportation and be fine with traveling to site locations** (Mileage will be .655 per mile).

Our client is looking for Desktop Tech's that are open to traveling within the State of SC to support 20+ state agencies on desktop support tasks. There will be no hardware support as the client can provide service calls, warranty information, etc. to the end client. The consultants will not be required to provide parts for projects. This role will support about 5-10 work stations per week. Starting off we will have individuals sitting in Columbia, eventually we will have tech's in Greenville and Charleston as well as agencies have remote offices in different parts of the state. These roles will support day to day operations with the agencies for any support related to the tasks below.

Day to Day:

• Perform initial setup of workstations and basic training with user for how to use the system and standard applications (Office, OneDrive)

• Reimage and join workstations back to the State domain

• Configure peripherals such as local printers or scanners

• Troubleshoot with remote staff on network drive mappings and printer mappings

• Configure USB and other external storage

• Troubleshoot Windows related issues

• Assist users with installation of software and\or software updates if not available through self-service portal

• Provide basic support of other installed software (ex. Adobe Creative Suite)

• Setup wireless and wired connections

• Verify successful operation of security software on workstations
