MARKETING ASSISTANT

As a marketing specialist, you will assist the Business Development Director, Marketing Manager and Sales Team in promoting the Ascend brand by executing marketing activities that will generate leads and opportunities for the company. The marketing specialist should be knowledgeable in telemarketing, email marketing, provide assistance in conducting events/webinars and follow up activities to progress leads.

Duties & Responsibilities:

●Execute marketing plan/activities that will generate leads and opportunities for the sales funnel

●Call out list of prospects and targets to follow up email campaigns, introduce Ascend portfolio and secure meeting presentations

●Facilitate distribution of marketing communications such as but not limited to electronic direct mails, advertisements, announcements, social media posts that aims to promote the brand

●Administer social media posts making sure Ascend Data Management platforms mirror the same content, monitor and answer inquiries online, manage comments, shares and reactions to posts.

●Assist on development and execution of events such as product launch, customer workshops and tech updates

●Endorse leads to Sales and execute follow up activities to progress opportunities

●Manage correspondence between sales team and customers

Qualifications:

●Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field

●Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

●Knowledge on market research, telemarketing and digital marketing

●Proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge in Adobe Photoshop is a plus

●1-2 years' experience as marketing staff/ assistant
