To be successful as a Pre Sales Engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of our company's enterprise IT solutions and services and should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
●Attend meetings and act as technical expert of the assigned solution/technology.
●Conduct presentation of the assigned solution/technology to customers (internal and external).
●Work closely with the customer to understand and size requirement (scoping) and recommend a solution or integrated solutions that will address the customer’s requirement.
●Build business cases to support a project justification or a business direction.
●Present proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team.
●Deliver the product demo to individual customers, answer the technical questions in a customer RFP or Bid, and explain technical details to the technical buyers.
● Conduct Proof-of-Concept exercise
● Discuss the project scope and participate in QA activity during pre-sales stage of sales cycle.
●Conduct a handover to the implementation team immediately upon receipt of customer purchase confirmation or securing a project.
●Providing ongoing support for customers post implementation.
Qualifications:
●Must be a graduate of Information Technology, Computer Engineer, Computer Science or equivalent.
●Strong customer service orientation.
●Two or more years of industry experience in sales engineering or consulting
●Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills
●Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities
●Positive, service-oriented personality
●Willingness to travel
