To be successful in this role, candidates are highly organized, proactive, and process-improvement oriented. The candidate must be logical, practical and possess strong administrative abilities and strong communication skills. This person is capable of seamlessly and effectively maintaining a heavy and dynamic flow of commitments, ensuring their manager is in sync with their priorities and prepared for meetings.
He/she must be detail-oriented but able to construct the big picture from the disjointed pieces, capable of processing different tasks and multiple levels of information/communication. Additionally, this person must fully understand the objectives & responsibilities of their manager at the goal level, holding their manager accountable to achieving these goals and identifying areas they can independently drive.
Responsibilities:
Enable manager to use their time efficiently and to best effect by:
--Effectively managing calendar, providing extensive forward planning, dynamic time management, and ability to understand priorities and connect the tasks to the goal
--Acting as a single intake point for all requests on manager’s time and attention and coordinating their calendar and tasks based on manager priorities.
-- Making logistical arrangements to ensure the manager’s meetings and other day-to-day activities and interactions run well
Run existing low- to mid-complexity processes for the manager (e.g. ensure proper preparation/execution of daily activities).
Skills:
1-5 years relevant work experience in an office setting supporting executive(s)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
