SERVICE PORTER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cleans the service and customer areas.

Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees.

Cleans service areas, technicians' locker room and lunch room, halls, and shop bathroom.

Sweeps technician stalls, service department and halls, and vending areas.

Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans, and vending machines.

Maintains hot beverage areas by cleaning counter surfaces and restocking coffee and related supplies as needed.

Cleans bathrooms and restocks paper supplies as needed.

Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary.

Removes all debris from lot.

Maintains yard equipment and cleaning supplies.

Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly.

Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts and service manager.

Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs.

Runs errands as directed by foreman as well as picks up and delivers parts when needed.

Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations.

Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.

Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.

Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent customer service skills

Willing to submit a background check & MVR
