Job Description

We are seeking an experienced construction worker/carpenter to aid in the installation of high-tech bioclimatic pergolas. A pergola is a shade structure typically consisting of four aluminum columns and a set of remote controlled roof louvers that open and close, and may include custom accessories like heaters, retractable screens, lighting, etc.

PergolaHaus does both residential and commercial projects. Most job sites are in the Tri-State area. Candidate must provide own transportation to Pompton Plains warehouse, but transportation to job sites will be provided.

Qualified candidates must provide their own basic tools. Specialized tools are provided by PergolaHaus.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation of pergolas

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Track and store equipment, tools, and supplies

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or other related fields

Familiarity with basic tools and equipment

Ability to handle physical workload

Ability to work well in teams

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Ability to problem solve onsite

Attention to detail a must

Basic electrical wiring skills are a plus

Must provide own hand tools
