Job Description

The Lead Installation Programmer works in collaboration with the Project Manager and the Design Engineer to achieve successful installation, test and closeout of each assigned project.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Control4 Experience a must! Rack construction, speaker installation,control system programming, pulling and terminating cable, and preparing equipment for installation• Installation of completed racks, projectors, monitors and related sub-systems .• Testing of system components to assure system completeness and convention .• Uses company approved installation methods and techniques.• Ensures all work complies with company policies, procedures, standards and conventions.• Assures each system's physical completeness is in accordance with installation drawings .• Maintain an on-going dialog with Project Manger, ensuring that work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations.• The Lead Installation Technician is responsible for maintaining his assigned equipment inventory, and assigned tools.• Turning in daily activity sheets.• Comply with all aspects of the Company's Policies & Directives.• Handles other duties relative to the job as assigned by management.• Follows and maintains proper safetypractices.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:• High School Diploma or equivalent as a prerequisite. Industry certifications a plus.

PRIOR RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:• Minimum Two years experience installing audio visual,teleconferencing, corporate video, control systems and related systems.

EXPERIENCE IN USE OF SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS:• Experience

using hand tools of the AN and electronic related trades is a plus. This is inclusive of, but not limited to, wire strippers and crimpers for varying types of wire and cable, soldering tools/techniques, etc.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :• Must be able to stand, kneel and crouch for long periods of time.• Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding .• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds.• Must be able to work in high places and in small cramped places.• Must be able to work in hot humid places as well as coldplaces.

MENTAL DEMANDS:• Must be able to maintain the following attributes while under pressure from deadlines: technical capability, professionalism, self-motivation, self discipline, focus and attention to detail.• Must be able to maintain a safety-minded approach to all activities.

Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
