Department: Clinical & Front Desk Support Staff
Reports to: Nurse Manager/Office Manager
Location: Lincoln ( 2 Wake Robin Rd. Lincoln RI) or
North Smithfield (594 Great Rd. North Smithfield RI)
Salary: Starting at $19 per hour
Job Summary:
Performs clinical & clerical duties under the direction of a licensed Medical Provider, Nurse Manager and Office Manager. This position requires a kind and compassionate experienced medical professional who is a self-starter and can multitask, think critically, and performs effective time management skills. Teamwork is integral as every employee is a vital part of our daily operations and their ability to provide quality care to our community.
Job duties include:
Perform vital signs: BP, Pulse, RR, Temperature, Ht/Wt
Obtain & document Patient HPI, medical & surgical history and reconcile medications
EMR system/ eClinicalWorks
Perform rapid in-house testing: Strep, Flu, Mono, HCG, UA, COVID, glucose, DS
Knowledge of DOT Physicals & Federal Drug Screens
Perform EKG’s, PFT's, Breath Alcohol testing
Perform and assist in wound care & minor surgical procedures
Assist provider with in-office procedures
Administer vaccines and therapeutic injections
Perform autoclaving/ sterilization, sanitation of instruments and medical equipment
Maintain equipment per protocols
Splinting/wrapping injuries, appropriately fitting DME’s, and providing gait training
Stocking rooms
Register patients according to established protocols.
Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation.
Maintain and manage patient records.
Answer incoming calls and inquiries.
Collect copays and ROA payments.
Assist medical staff as needed.

Salary: Staring at $19.00 per hour
