Interior Design Assistant

Ron Scott Design Build is currently seeking an Interior Design Spec Research Assistant to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about interior design to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic design-build environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research on interior design specifications, materials, and products.

Collaborate with designers and architects to gather information and source materials for projects.

Maintain a comprehensive database of design specifications, suppliers, and vendors.

Assist in the selection and procurement of materials and finishes for interior design projects.

Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and sustainable design practices.

Support the design team with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (Students or recent graduates are welcome to apply).

Strong interest in interior design, architecture, and construction.

Excellent research and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
