Your New Role…

The Graphic Artist position designs and produces still graphics for Live, News Programming. The position will communicate with producers, graphic supervisors, and other design team members to fulfill a range of requests. The ideal candidate is a strong multi-tasker able to prioritize and fulfill multiple daily news requests. The position produces high-quality design under tight deadlines while maintaining strict accuracy, visual clarity and meets technical standards.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Design/produce still graphics and other design elements as assigned by Graphics Supervisors.

Effectively evaluate and manage time, resources and deadlines to produce desired products both individually and as part of a team.

Work with Graphics Supervisors, co-workers and show production staff to determine needs and facilitate execution of projects.

Acquire and utilize knowledge of equipment operation, production techniques and engineering requirements.

Proactively makes effective use of downtime, reaching out to help co-workers or learning/enhancing skills as time allows.

Qualifications & Experience…

Degree from accredited art school with emphasis in graphic design, motion design or related field (illustration, photography, industrial design, visual communications) or equivalent work experience.

Displays outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with other teams under pressure.

Embraces working in a diverse, collaborative environment and is willing to train and assist other designers on various levels. Actively contribute to overall positive and creative atmosphere of the department.

Excellent computer, organizational and interpersonal skills required.

Expert level at Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc).
