QA Tester

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We are currently looking for a QA Tester to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and C#.

Utilize SQL Server Management Studio to create and execute SQL queries for database testing.

Conduct thorough UI testing to identify defects and ensure a seamless user experience.

Plan and prioritize test activities, including test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.

Implement and maintain automated test frameworks to streamline testing processes.

Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality deliverables.

Communicate testing progress, findings, and issues effectively to project managers and team members.

Participate in agile/scrum meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.

Proven experience in automation testing, including writing and executing automated test scripts.

Proficiency in SQL query writing and database testing using SQL Server Management Studio.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience with Selenium WebDriver and programming languages such as Java and/or C#.

Ability to effectively communicate testing concepts and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Solid organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Some programming experience beyond scripting, ideally in Java or C#.

Familiarity with other testing tools and technologies.

Experience working in an agile development environment.
