Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Sr Manager, the Communications Associate, Events and Digital, is responsible for coordinating highly visible events, including Global and North America tradeshow activity, from pre-event through post-event evaluation. This involves coordination with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing and Service, to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Additionally, Digital Communications Programs, including event promotion and tracking, email and digital marketing, website and social media presence.
Responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities
External Global and National Tradeshows, Major Internal events and Worldwide Digital Communications Program, including tactical campaign development and implementation.
Manage project planning and execution for key national/global tradeshow programs
Lead event logistics such as site search and selection, production and design, catering, audiovisual, signage and materials
Travel to and support offsite events as needed
Oversee marketing campaigns and strategies to promote exhibitions and conferences
Contribute to digital marketing program development and execution, including project timelines, implementation of ads and other content, and analysis and reporting of analytics
Maintain Werfen website, including updates, additions and enhancements
Contribute to development of content for Werfen’s social media presence (i.e., Twitter, LinkedIn), associated analytics, timelines for posting, approval processes
Maintain content on Werfen’s digital selling tool platform for the sales force
Help manage aspects of communications logistics, including billing, budgeting, and submission of regulatory documentation
Networking/Key Relationships
To be determined based on department needs, to include interactions such as:
Worldwide marketing product managers
Communications colleagues
Regulatory
Medical affairs
Other stakeholders throughout company
External trade shows and digital partners
Qualifications:
Minimum Knowledge and Experience required for the position
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication or Digital Marketing preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Event Planning
Experience in digital communications/platform
Experience in healthcare field, particularly medical diagnostics preferred
Additional skills/Knowledge
Outstanding project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in cross-collaboration with both internal and external entities (i.e., outside partners) to complete projects strongly preferred
Familiarity with budget management and fiscal responsibility preferred
Proficient with Microsoft office Suite or related software
Experience using Hubspot preferred, but not required
Media Management skills, including familiarity with Various multimedia files
