Job Summary:
Sells vehicles by understanding and demonstrating product features and benefits; developing and qualifying buyers; skillfully turning features into benefits to meet customer’s needs & wants and close sales. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Endeavor to master product knowledge as an essential skill. Understands vehicles by studying their features and benefits, as well as comparing and contrasting competitive models.
• Execute effective customer prospecting; organizes sales visits, demonstrating and presenting the products to target customers; Figures out customers’ needs & wants by listening and asking questions;
• Qualifies buyers by understanding their interests and requirements; matching requirements and interests to various models.
• Develops buyers by keeping good rapport with previous and new customers; responds to inquiries;
• Effectively closes sales by overcoming objections; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collects payment; delivers automobiles.
• Ensures that customers understand the vehicles’ operating features, paperwork and warranty;
• Provides sales management information by completing reports; recommends sales campaigns and promotions
• Establishes and maintains a follow-up system which encourages repeat business through referrals.
• Reports to the Sales Manager/Supervisor regarding reviews, analyses, objectives and planned activities.
• Participates in sales meetings and training provided by the company.
• Reviews sales statistics and plan more effectively to improve sales.
• Explore new opportunities in order to add value to job accomplishments
• Performs other legitimate duties as instructed by immediate superior
Job Specifications & Skills Required:
• Candidate must be at least a graduate of any 2 year course or its equivalent.
• At least with 1 year of work related experience in sales is a plus.
• Must be willing to do office and field works.
• Can work under minimum supervision.
• Confident individual with strong communication and negotiation skills; demonstrates resilience.
• Able to build rapport with customers and qualify their requirements; strong customer service skills.
• With strong analytical and planning skills.
• Computer literate (with knowledge in basic MS Office or any alike applications) and tech savvy.
• With knowledge and skills in selling marketing is an advantage.
• Willing to be trained and a fast learner.
