Determine the existence of electrical hazards and problems.
Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, generators, high voltage switchgear, protective relaying, and related equipment.
Read/interpret engineering drawings and manuals to install, calibrate and maintain electrical apparatus.
Design layout work on panels, set up complex control systems, interpret and alter engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
Ability to use electrical/electronic testing equipment .
Repair or replace faulty electrical equipment, including electronic controls, meters, outlets, and panels.
Effectively communicate problems and solutions to resolve electrical problems.
Observe safe work practices and ensure work does not endanger others.
Perform other duties as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical Vocational or Engineering Technology Graduate/Undergraduate
At least 2 years experience in industrial maintenance.
Experienced in high and low voltage electrical control & motor control center maintenance.
Proficient in PLC system controls and field instruments.
Proficient in refrigeration system repair and maintenance.
Can rewind motors up to 20HP
Can use accurately maintenance precision tools, i.e. calipers, dial gages, PM devices, etc.
