Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pre-Delivery Inspection Coordinator to join our North York team. The PDI Coordinator will be responsible for managing and conducting pre-delivery inspections across all our development projects, ensuring that every property meets our rigorous standards of quality and client expectations before handover.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and coordinate pre-delivery inspections with homeowners, contractors, and internal teams.

Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial units to identify any deficiencies or issues that need rectification.

Communicate effectively with construction teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

Maintain detailed records of inspections, issues, and resolutions for compliance and quality assurance purposes.

Educate and guide homeowners through the inspection process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Ensure all units meet the required standards and regulations prior to occupancy.

Provide feedback and insights to the development and construction teams to improve future project outcomes.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the real estate development or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and inspection protocols.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.

Proficiency in using construction management software and standard office tools.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications relevant to building inspection or construction management are considered an asset.
