Sr Billing Specialist

ECS is seeking a Sr Billing Specialist to work in our Fairfax, VA office / remote.

Job Description:

ECS is looking for a government contract billing professional. Excellent opportunity to grow and develop in an expanding organization. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Prepare invoices of various types (FFP, T&M, CPxx) to include retro rate adjustments

Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Billing setup to include ceilings and overrides

Analyze monthly unbilled receivables, research and resolve issues

Project reconciliation, i.e. reconcile invoice to PSR revenue

Track ACRN funding

Communicate with internal and external customers to identify and resolve billing and payment discrepancies

Required Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Excel competent, i.e. ability to create basic pivot tables

Analytical and problem-solving capabilities

4+ years experience in government contract billing

Deltek Costpoint - Billing and Projects Module

Desired Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field

WAWF, IPP experience
