We are looking for team members that enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

As a member of the Waitstaff team, you get to provide excellent service to guests, enhancing the dining experience from the moment the Guest leaves the serving counter to the moment the Guest leaves the building. Anticipate Guests' needs and provide a high level of hospitality.

As a member of the Waitstaff, your duties will be to keep the dining room, tables, and chairs clean, sanitized, and organized so our Guests can enjoy their dining experience. This is a tipped position.

Responsibilities:

Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.

Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.

Engage with customers in a friendly manner.

Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.

Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

Collect payments from tables.

Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.

Help food preparation staff when necessary.

Server Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age

Must have good organizational skills

Open to varied work schedules and hours depending on the restaurant’s needs

Must be able to use to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 25 pounds

Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time

Must be a team player

Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Bob Luby opened his first restaurant in 1947 in San Antonio. His goal was to serve good, fresh food in a setting people would want to come back to time and time again. A place that felt like home.
