Job Description

FDRsafety is seeking an EHS Director for a large construction client near Indianapolis, IN. This is a full-time permanent opportunity that will offer a generous base salary, a lucrative benefits package and bonus incentive, and substantial opportunities for growth. This position will be responsible for overseeing multiple sites across the US and maintaining a safe work environment.

Education/Experience:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in HSE related field, or a College Degree with CSP, ASP, or CHST through BCSP.

Minimum of 3 years as an EHS Director, 7 years as an EHS Manager, or 10 years’ experience in Construction, Industrial, or Maintenance EHS.

Strong communication, supervisory, and teamwork skills.

Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Proficiency in conducting data analysis, statistical reporting, and examining trends to reduce future incidents.

Maintain all record-keeping requirements, including training and compliance records.

Excellent knowledge in EHS (OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies) regulations and capability of interpreting and applying them.

Passion toward your career in safety and the construction industry.

Strong leadership traits and motivation to follow through with your work.

Integrity and being able to exercise independent professional judgment to make decisions.

Demonstrate self-initiating/self-starting behavior and maintain a positive proactive attitude.

The ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to any safety issues at any time.

Working knowledge of MS Office Suites, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Ability to climb a vertical ladder up to 200 ft.

Ability to work in outdoor weather and construction conditions.

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.Company Description
