Quality Inspector (Night Shift)

Location: Huntsville, AL

Salary: $44.77/hr

Industry: Aerospace/Manufacturing

Employment Type: 6 month assignment w/ potential to extend or be hired direct

Shift: B Shift / Typically Monday - Friday starting around 4/4:30pm

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.

Superior blueprint reading skills including GD&T principles.

Excellent communication skills.

Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work.

Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components.

Familiar with the use of personal computers.

Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.

Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities:

Setup, program and operate Laser Tracker using design data to inspect, make, and buy components.

Perform first article inspections and document per AS9102.

Perform in-process, and final inspections.

Document, track, and complete discrepancy reports.

Perform daily/weekly/monthly PM on machines and document.

Maintain configuration control on files and job records.

Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission
