Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - IT Network Engineer.

The IT Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity. This role plays a critical part in supporting our business operations and technology initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Ø Network Design and Architecture: Design, plan, and implement network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud networks, to meet business requirements and scalability.

Ø Network Configuration: Configure and maintain network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Ø Network Security: Implement security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, VPNs, and access controls, to protect network assets.

Ø Network Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement, optimizing network resources and troubleshooting network issues.

Ø Network Protocols: Administer and troubleshoot network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP, to maintain network reliability.

Ø Network Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and inventory records to ensure accurate network configurations.

Ø Network Upgrades and Expansion: Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migration projects as needed to meet business needs.

Ø Wireless Networking: Implement and manage wireless networking solutions, including access points, controllers, and wireless security protocols.

Ø Vendor and Service Provider Management: Collaborate with technology vendors and service providers to ensure effective delivery of network services.

Ø Disaster Recovery and Redundancy: Develop and implement disaster recovery and redundancy strategies to ensure network availability in case of failures.

Ø Responsible for the following Cisco Products:

- Firepower - Next Generation firewalls (IDS/IPS) Configuration/troubleshooting/logging. Knowledge of FMC

- Umbrella - Policy management

- Secure Cloud Analytics - Configuration/troubleshooting/logging. Understanding netflow

- ISE (802.1x) - Configuration/troubleshooting/logging. Understanding of network access control

Must Have. Network Engineer - Cisco (Network Core, Switches, Cisco Nextgen Firewalls - Cisco ASA w/SFR, Firepower with Cisco Threat Response and Routers), Cisco ISE, Cisco SCA, Cisco AMP, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco Secure Client (VPN)

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

· Proven experience as an IT Network Engineer with hands-on experience in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.

· Network certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.

· Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security.

· Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

· Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge of network best practices and emerging technologies.

· Experience with cloud-based networking is a plus.
