Responsibilities:
Identify purchasing needs
Research potential vendors
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Vendor management
Furniture inspection and QC in line with approved shop drawing
To co-ordinate final finish swatches for Furniture for ID approval.
Work in progress inspection at vendor’s facility
Co-ordinate for the required upholstery fabrics.
Conduct final QC in line with approved mood board before Furniture shipment
Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
Prepare cost analyses
Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
Liaise with Logistic and Warehouse, site team to ensure all products arrive in good condition
Requirements and skills
Design background preferable
Team player
Understand and read Auto CAD drawings for Furniture
Good understanding of supply chain procedures
Hands-on experience with purchasing software
Knowledge of MS Excel
Good organizational and communication skills
Computer literate
